Artist Statement
Paul Medina is a mixed media series artist that lives and works in Oklahoma City. Over the past 40 years, he has created numerous bodies of work that appear, at first, unconnected. But with closer observation, basic concepts and issues prevail in all of his work. Medina relishes working with new materials and tools and finds the exploration into the unknown, the untried, as important as anything else in the creative process.
